|This Icon of Daoist founder Laozi 老子 depicts the famous scene of him pausing
while leaving the West Gate of the Chinese kingdoms in the 6th Century BCE,
composing the Dàodé Jīng (Tao Te Ching, 道德經) at the request of the Gatekeeper.
